Covid-19 Update – o4/04/2022

An update to all our patients,
Since the government in England have removed all COVID-19 domestic restrictions for the majority of the country, we have some slightly different restrictions still in place which apply to healthcare settings :
·         Staff at Broad Walk Dental are still wearing the full PPE we have been doing during the pandemic
·         We are still asking patients to wear a face covering if they are able to
·         Although there is no longer a legal requirement to isolate if you have COVID-19, we are asking patients not to attend their appointments if they know they have the virus or are very likely to have it. The guidance is still asking people to stay at home where they can and staff at Broad Walk Dental will still be isolating at home if they contract the virus to avoid any unnecessary spread to patients. We are asking the same of you, to protect us and the other patients visiting the practice.
We are now back to ‘pre-pandemic’ appointments and booking exams for all registered patients. If you haven’t been in for an exam since the first lock down then please contact the practice to book in.


We will continue to have daily urgent appointments available for our registered patients. Please call the practice as close to opening as possible if you require a same-day urgent appointment. Appointments are limited each day and are booked on a first come, first serve basis.
We will try our best to continue to offer urgent appointments to unregistered patients where we have availability, but as of the start of April 2022 this will no longer be a routine offer we are able to make. If you are not registered with a dental practice, please call us to enquire if you are experiencing pain and if there is anything we can do we will try our best to help we will do but this cannot be guaranteed.
Please note, this does not apply patients registered at other dental practices who are struggling to offer you an appointment. Your registered practice should now be able to offer you an urgent appointment, therefore you should contact them directly.
It does not mean you are registered at the practice if you attend for a one-off urgent appointment. Our current waiting list will apply should you wish to join it.

Welcome  Broad Walk Dental Practice is a family run dental practice situated in the heart of the Buxton conservation area, providing a full range of NHS and private treatment options. Brothers, Drs Alexander and Duncan Hannah took over the practice in 2012 and have since been concentrating on building a positive reputation within the area.

The practice is a member of the BDA good practice guide which means we conform to the high standards as set out by the British Dental Association and are inspected regularly. Our main focus is high quality family dental care.
