We would like to extend a warm welcome to you and hope to make your first visit with us a relaxing, informative and comfortable experience.
Your first visit is very important as it is the beginning of the relationship between yourself and the whole dental team. Attending a new dental practice for the first time can be unsettling and not knowing what to expect at that first visit can make it more stressful.
Our main aim at your initial New-patient consultation appointment is to gather information about your current dental condition and what you may want for your future care, so we can start the process of understanding how we can help you.
The practitioner will do this by asking you some questions about your current dental regime and carrying out a full examination. This will include the teeth, gums and soft tissues, as well as taking any relevant radiographs (x-rays).
The clinician will then use this information to make a diagnosis and discuss your treatment options with you. A treatment plan will then be formulated based on your individual needs and preferences. A full breakdown of costs will also be provided during this visit.
Before your appointment you will be asked to fill in a full medical history form including any medical conditions, allergies and medication you are currently taking. It is important that we have this information before providing any dental treatment.
Please click here to download a blank medical history form to fill in beforehand and bring with you. This will save time on the day of your appointment.
If you think of any other information you need please don't hesitate to 'contact us' and we will do our utmost to help.
